Type D - 'Questor'
The
'Questor' values inner harmony and is sensitive, idealistic and loyal.
They have a great sense of honor concerning personal values. They can be
very devoted to causes they believe in and are motivated by personal
beliefs. 'Questors' focus their energy on dreams and possibilities. They
are open-minded, curious and insightful. They are often considered to have
good long-range vision.
Type D's are firm about
their inner loyalties and set high (and sometimes nearly impossible)
standards for themselves. They care deeply, are compassionate and
understanding. 'Questors' are very sensitive to the feelings of others and
like to avoid conflict. They prefer communicating (other than to close
friends) in writing rather than speaking.
They can be convincing
to others of their ideals. They appear reticent and calm until they get to
know you and then they are warm and enthusiastic. Type D's are friendly
and avoid superficial socializing.
Possible downside:
Since logic is not a priority to them, they may make errors without
knowing they are being illogical. A 'Questors' many dreams may make them
appear flighty and mystical and they would do well to take the advice of
more practical people. They are so committed to their own ideals that they
may overlook other points of view and may fail to notice what is happening
around them.
This type of person may
reflect on an idea longer than necessary to complete the project. Their perfectionistic
tendencies cause them to refine ideas for so long that
they may never share them. They are so emotionally tied with their
undertakings that they are very sensitive to criticism. Since they demand
so much from themselves they can feel inadequate. When 'Questors' get
disappointed the become negative about everything. They have a hard time
saying no because they don't want to let someone down. They would do well
to be more assertive and develop their objectivity.
