Type J - 'Trustee'
'Trustees' are serious,
responsible and sensible. They are trustworthy and honor their
commitments. They are extremely accurate and methodical and have great
powers of concentration. They think things through and are difficult to
sway once they have made up their mind. This type tends to be quiet and
hardworking and have practical judgment and memory for details.
Type J's are good at
supporting their views with evidence and applying past experiences to
present decisions. They value logic and are organized and systematic in
their approach. They follow necessary procedures and can be impatient with
those who don't. 'Trustees' are cautious and traditional and listen well.
They like things to be clearly stated and are said to 'say what they
mean and mean what they say'. Private by nature, they appear calm but
beneath this, may have strong, rarely expressed reactions.
Possible downside:
'Trustees' are prone to lose themselves in details and can be rigid and
unwilling to adapt or accept another point of view. They tend to be
skeptical of new ideas if they don't see the immediate and practical
application.
Type J's can have trouble
understanding the needs of others and can be perceived as cold and
unfeeling because they keep their reactions private. They need to learn to
express their appreciation for others openly rather than keeping it to
themselves.
