Type O - 'Artisan'
'Artisans' are
straightforward, honest people who would rather take action than converse.
They have a good understanding of the way things work. They are most
interested in the impersonal and underlying principals of things because
they are analytical in nature. They have an innate understanding of how
mechanical things work and are skilled at using tools. Type O's tend make
logical and private decisions, stating things clearly and directly, just
as they see them.
'Artisans' are convinced
only by hard reliable facts and are curious and observant. They have a
great respect for facts and can remember lots of information on things
they are interested in. They can capitalize well on resources, which makes
them practical with a good sense of timing. Quiet and reserved, they tend
to appear cool and aloof, and a bit shy except when with close friends.
They are independent and concerned with fairness. They operate on impulse
and are adaptable to immediate challenges. Type O's thrive on excitement.
They often participate in outdoor activities and sports.
Possible downside:
They often keep even the most important issues to themselves which leaves
the people in their lives in the dark because they tend to make judgments
privately. They can have difficulty sharing their feelings, and concerns
with others because it seems unnecessary to them. Type O's would do well
to accept that others want to know what is going on in their lives and
realize that they are the only ones who can provide an accurate
explanation.
'Artisans' are so
realistic that they can usually see ways of minimizing efforts. They may
not stick with a project until it's conclusion or may not prepare more
than is absolutely necessary because of their need for free time. They may
cut corners when possible. Planning will help them take more initiative
and follow through. Since they prefer to keep options open and are always
on the lookout for new information, they may be indecisive. Their need for
excitement can make them easily bored.
